Chinese Eagle Hood ($100 ea.):

The Chinese Eagle Hood is made from a pattern that comes from Western China. It was brought to the U.S. by a friend of Col. S. Kent Carnie and passed on to me. The pattern was pretty rough and crude but with a little tweaking I managed to make it work. Like most hoods from that part of the world, it is made without braces and is made to fit snug on the head. No two hoods are alike as they are hand-stitched and formed with different patterns of studs or other decorations added to make your hood as unique as your bird. The Chinese Eagle Hood is made to custom fit your eagle as it has an adjustable chin strap for a perfect fit.

Hawk Boots ($6 small, $7 medium, $8 large):

Have you ever had to use tape to secure that fresh-trapped hawk's feet? Ever been grabbed by your bird while attempting to cast her? My Hawk Boots are exclusive from DragonHoods. They are similar to dog boots but designed to fit the foot of a raptor. I offer them in three sizes: small, medium and large to fit anything from Coopers Hawks to female Bald and Golden Eagles. Simply hold the closed foot and slip into the boot, wrap the top of the boot around the tarsus and secure with the Velcro wrap. The bird's foot is completely immobilized as it cannot grab its other foot, its tail feathers or most importantly...YOU!!!! You also don't have any sticky gum residue to clean up when you're done.
